You will also need
To take debit/credit card payments through your FoodCommerce online shop you will require an e-commerce merchant account from a UK acquiring bank and a payment gateway from either Sage Pay or Cardsave. These are in addition to your FoodCommerce online store.

We are an application service provider which means we provide a specialised computer based system (FoodCommerce) across a network (The Internet). By providing our service in this manner we have made it possible for small and medium sized food retailers to have an effective e-commerce solution that will realistically compete with the online grocery shopping of the major supermarkets. As part of our service we are continually developing new features based on feedback from our customers, our own experiences and developments within the marketplace. We look after all the infrastructure our services run on and continually ensure your online shop is fast, reliable and secure.
With FoodCommerce there are no big upfront development or setup costs. As part of our monthly charge we will get you launched, which means we will style your website to your business identity, help you with setting up your delivery schemes, create additional pages (you provide the content) and integrate your Sage Pay account with your FoodCommerce online shop. After this we will continue to provide you with help and support by email and telephone. If you would like us to do further work on your website then we will charge for our time. If you want us to do this regularly then we can offer you a better rate.
